I'm a fun-loving, hard-working, trustworthy soul looking for that oh so tough thing to find - a meaningfully close connection. For me and as a creative outlet for my talents, I am a designer and consultant. But for others, I run commercial companies overseeing UK contracts and acting as a company secretary. I've done this for years, I think mostly because I am reliable and tenacious. On a more personal level, I'm engaging, one of life's adventurers, well travelled, I've lead an interesting life so far and am now looking for someone to share the remaining story. Piano, I sing too. Involved in a women's A Cappella group going from success to success. Great fun.

Blues, Jazz, Soft Rock, Swing, ... and anything arranged in A Cappella style. If you're not sure what that is, think 'Swingle Singers.

Thumb wrestling.

Concerts, Cooking, Countryside, Eating Out, Friends, Gardening, Health and Fitness, Singing, Theatre, Travel, Walking, I work a lot with local theatre groups and write extensively for the local paper. Writing is another fabulous creative outlet more recently acquired.

Aged hound destined not to be with me for too much longer methinks. But a real sweetie.

Telegraph, The Times, .... but only if someone had left it on the seat next to me.

C. S. Lewis, Terry Pratchett, Generally I don't tend to go on the sorts of holidays where there's much time to read.

Favourite Films:

Kind Hearts and Coronets, Some Like It hot, Terminator, The Railway Children and Now Voyager are two other favourites.

Enjoyable evening out:

Meal, Wine bar, Theatre

Favourite Dishes:

I eat any good food with a lovely glass of accompanying wine and hopefully with great company too.

Ideal Holiday:

Driving across the US, Driving slowly around Ireland, Lying on a beach in the Caribbean, Safari in Africa, ... and all the others really. Love travel.
